Every state atty gen office and feds need to investigate freedompop these crooks.unfair and deceptive business practices on a regular basis. Then they hide from you by not speaking to u by phone. Even lock u out from being able to reach them by email/support. Hope there are some attorneys start a class action lawsuit against these crooks.

They do no different than many other MVNO's. ANY issues I've ever had were addressed and fixed in my favor, even those involving money. Maybe you need to go back to a hold your hand carrier.

Nothing but GREAT SERVICE here, but you have to know what you are doing. They are just an MVNO, can only address so many issues, and as such must assume you can handle simple instructions. Their customer service is par with all the MVNO's I've tried (which is most of them).

Freedom pop after one year of not takng money out of my account snuck in a charge for $7.99. I stopped using the card related to the account months ago. What are you doing? And I attempt to log in over and over asked for new password. Is your system hacked?

Freedom pop has been nothing but a headache, that's why I stopped using the phone. I want a refund for the money you took.

Like many companies, IF offered a "month free" extra, make sure you don't accept it. Your issue sounds like the "premium plus offer". Never accept a freeby, it's never fee (I feel like I'm talking to my ten-year-old granddaughter). Had you contacted them right away after being billed they would have taken it off. I know this is true because I helped someone do it.

Your issues aren't with Freedompop, it's with the actual carrier, WHICH YOU PICKED from your choices offered by them. You need to accept some responsibility here.

I have called for last few days.when automated answer comes on it says we are closed call back at regular business hours which is 9to5 . Well I've been calling at the regular business hours and from Monday to Friday but I still get this stupid message.What are they doing is anyone there? This makes no sense . I need to speak to a person and one who speaks English.

I have never been more dissatisfied or felt more frustrated trying to use a service, phone, or anything else for that matter!!! Paid data usage overage charges, was told at time of payment that THEIR SERVER WAS "BACKED UP & not working" and would have to WAIT, but once payment was confirmed my service would automatically come back on, that was LAST THURSDAY! It's now SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND I STILL HAVE NO SERVICE. Piggybacked off a friends hotspot to place this review & continue the saga of hating service!!! Just moved on here & don't have internet, phone, nothing! Was counting on this phone for outside contact! God forbid we need 911 service !!!

I purchased this phone because the unbelievable price and deal! unlimited minutes and talk for 19.99 a month and the free data, who can beat that?! But come to find out the service is terrible unable to receive and make phone calls! I've had customer support walk me through fixing the issue 3-4 times and every other day its the same issue! I knew this deal was too good to be true. Your better off just spending the extra money and going to a regular cell phone provider! Save your money!

Customer service operates only Monday thru Friday - 9 to 5.
What are you going to do when you have a problem on weekends?
Got new phone and discovered it had the wrong number embedded in it.
Can't get any incoming calls. I can call out thought - LOL.

Also paid $17.95 for express shipping. Took them 3 days to be delivered it to FedEx.
FedEx got it to me in 2 days. Express at 5 days!!! WOW.

Glad the service is almost FREE.

I AM PRESENTLY HOLDONG FOR SOMEONE TO TAKE MY CALL. I HAVE BEEN HOLDING NOW FOR EXACTLTY 15 MINUTES AND 45 SECONDS. WHAT IS THE PROBLEM? I HAVE HAD TWO INCOMING CALLS BUT CANNOT TAKE THEM BECAUSE I DON'T WANT TO LOSE MY TURN ON YOUR CALL, IF THAT'S POSSIBLE. THIS IS MY HOME PHONE SO THAT MAKES IT VERY INCONVIENT. AFTER 18 MINUTES A RECORDING CAME ON AND SAID THAT I COULD HANG UP AND I WOULD BE CALLED BACK WHEN AN AGENT BECOMES FREE. THAT SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED AFTER TWO MINUTES, NOT ALMOST 20.

All they do is have you set your phone every time. It takes an hour to do and it doesn't help the problem. I get the same people over and over. This is the worst cell phone company I have ever had. Don't use them. The don't help you when you have trouble. And they charge for overages.

This company has to be one of the biggest scams out there. When you call to start service it's immediately picked up and the "live robot" barely has a grasp of the English language, and you are exhausted with their extremely aggressive sales-pitch and attempts to get your credit-card number. Getting an acceptable description and understanding of the terms explained is unbelievable in its incoherence. It must have taken me almost a month to get my phone-they said it would take two weeks! The customer-no-service has to be experienced to be believed! I have had nothing but-for lack of remotely accurate words-a disastrous experience with their service. Getting through to sign up for the phone and service was a piece-of-cake! Getting through to the tech-service is an entirely different monster I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy! They lie and mislead about everything. They wrote the book on "hidden costs. Whereas other companies leave a line open to contact them when your phone service is disrupted-"good luck!-you're at the mercy of a friend's phone to try and reach them! When you do, plan on staying on the line upwards of an hour before the tech gets back from shooting-up in the bathroom. I haven't even mentioned what a "joke" their live chats are at trying to resolve any technical difficulties!
