I made reservations using the Airbnb app to stay with Daniel at a location in Bethlehem PA, from June 10 -30. I couldn't get a flight out so I ask to extend my stay and check out 7-2-17...see how I got kicked out on the street.

Daniel I couldn't find a flight out of ABE until July 2. Is the house available, can I check out July 2nd instead of the 30th

I NEVER RECEIVED AN EXTENSION! I had to dump 2 day worth of food and jam pack my belongings and get out in 30 minutes. If this was a hotel, they couldn't do so by law. I don't think all Airbnb operators are like this. If you go to Bethlehem PA, don't stay at and Airbnb on East 4th street.

Here is what I think happened. I think maybe Daniel should have filled out a form or update the reservation on the website to confirm is agreement above. But never did. I am a paying customer! a sure thing! why would the company Airbnb pass up someone looking to stay longer? Instead I got kicked out on the street...while working...I was talking to my boss about an account while packing my bags. If this happened to you...with kids, how would you feel? Was this reasonable? Show me evidence the extension was sent. You kicked out a paying, engaged customer... no business can survive doing so.

My entire household items are being passed off as the owner's own! The owner is a family member, the house (a vacation home) is in his name. I left the house fully furnished in 2010 with my antique furniture, paintings, porcelain, mirrors, rugs - everything everything! Nobody asked my permission. I thought only he was staying there from time to time. He has been making money off of my style and interior design knowledge. I am absolutely horrified. From 2012 he has been doing this. Goodness knows what state my items are in. He won't return calls or speak to me!

Airbnb over charged me by $717.63. Although they recognize there was a mistake made they are unwilling to issue a refund. The best I got was a $25 gift card to be used on my next reservation. I am tired of all back and forth emails. Customer service, what customer service. Would like to talk directly to CEO himself.

Air bnb has stolen money from my host payout!!!! I am furious I have had rooms closed off for months and my instant booking was deactivated. I still continued to recieve instant booking reservations on two separate occasions. I immediately contacted the guests within seconds after receiving the instant booking. I told them we did not have availability. I did not know why they were allowed to reserve and especially instant booking. Both guests understood. Said that they would cancel their reservation. Both reservation requests had ample time to reschedule elsewhere. No one was disenfranchised. I cancelled both reservations. Then I am told from Air bnb that I would be penalized for a LAST MINUTE CANCELLATION!!!! My account was deactivated and they took $100 from our last payout
I have searched trying to find a customer service number. Nothing just the help Center. Which does not address the issue of their server allowing guests to reserve blocked rooms on a deactivated instant booking.

AIR BNB should have a DIRECT customer service e- mail or contact no. by phone at least to address HOST related querries .I sent reminders/mails /online querries . Unfortunately no answer I got since 30/05/2016 .Almost 01 week ------------ whats the issue .WH Y CANT AIR BNB have a CUSTOMER SERVICE no. like other websites -- instead of having so many road blocks to get a simple answer... THIS WAY AIR BNB continues - I think you will not get any HOSTS --- as without HOSTS - how can air bnb get business to travellers .. so without further delay,

pls have a customer service hotline or at least chat line or e- mail -- -like BOOKING.COM who does a super service !!

I had booked an Apt. in Goa on "Request to Book" and made the payment on 25th May, which is otherwise not accepted. This was declined. My payment is to be refunded.
I then booked another place on "Instant Booking" Made the payment and have a confirmation vide Code NZNQ3D. After getting your Receipt for the amount paid the Host says the booking should be for minimum 2 weeks. This is not mentioned on the Listing. Kindly resolve the problem.
Kindly also expidite the refund of Rs.24,194/=

I recently tried to book a reservation 7 times and only got so far and it wouldn't let me continue and left several messages with the host and she is asking me to contact customer service, that in itself is a big Red Flag and I don't want to continue with this.

I would like to review yor new policy but I feel that it will just be a waste of time since it is doubtful I'll get a chance to ever use Airbnb again. I'd suggest you spend some time updating and fixing the website. It has always been bad but now it just sucks. Can't navigate when I DO get on and am constantly dropped before I get a chance to look at any properties. No other website does this so I know it isn't me or my service provider. I've given up even trying, to bad because I really liked using the service and thought the places I booked from it were great. I've stopped telling people about it and don't plan to in the future. I imagine others feel the same way but aren't telling you. I've just had to go else where and am not satisfied with the places they offer, but at least I can look at them and get places booked. You've got a great product but a poor delivery service. I'd worry more about that then creating new service agreements.

airbnb is good for one party, the host. AIRBNB is the new CRAIGSLIST. Ads are a fake and as tired as Pamela Anderson.

Customer Support folksk albeit friendly and genuinely have a desire to help, they are unaware that the words that come out of their faces signal to the caller a complete lack of comprehension. And they like most customer service operators exhaust the phrase "I do apologize" to the point that it's the new "...uh" (the sound used to fill the void segway between thoughts and comments).

How can you spend 30 mins, 50 mins and 1:10 mins over three calls with three different AIRBNB agents and accomplish nothing?

As horrible as they were, Sprint's customer service calls routed to the Philippines is still worse.

This just in, they are using operators form the Philippines as well, I just got one on the phone and I can now explain how, but not why they actually do nothing or say anything.

Think back to a Miss American contest for the surprise question live. If you were stranded on an island with one person, who would it be and why.

Oh my god, Mother theresa, becaues she's mother hteresa and to be with mother theresa is like the next best thing to being with a saint and saints are good, good to have and on an island a saint would be a good companion like a mentor, so I would say mother theresa.

It has been a week now trying to sort out the problem of setting up a new payment method. I have received payments in Dec.2015 but suddenly an int. Wire does not work.
The problem is that your system when entering bank details DOES NOT ACCEPT MY NAME BECAUSE IT IS LONGER THEN 11 CHARACTERS.

You need to change your system!

same here - already charged my card - but I am not verified. - I cannot receive text on my phone, ergo unable to verify. Their process sucks for people while travelling. I am not on my computer with all bookmarks and data. I am 69 yrs. old and use my tablet only while travelling. Their site half the time does not work, especially at the contact page.
Extremely frustrated and I hope they either change their ways or die out.
Security i sone thing, but extortion is another - it is extortion when they charge your card immediately at "reservation, without having been approved yet, then only give you 12 hours or they cancel, but still keep your money for another 5 to 7 business days.

After this experience, I will never attempt to use them again.

To get intoych with airbnb could be easier if they are going to survive, it needs other Company who works in the same area to get them to better the service.
I got very good Reviews this summer as a host but two of my guests the last one were very unpolite and I had to clear things in an adult way now this two last rewievs are att the top- this is not nice. I can not do anything if I deactivate my listings I loos my own reservation for my holidays. I´m trying to call the numbers avaible in google but I do not get any Contact. Is this a way to get in Contact with them and surge for a solution to my problems?

I can't believe I had to go to Google to get a phone #. They have been holding some of my security deposit money for almost 2 months. Guess they put it in overnight T bills so that they can make money off my money. They have a great product and the 10 hosts we have met are great. Their places were as advertised if not better. But getting customer support is a real challenge. If there was another game in town, I would seriously consider it just for the security deposit and customer service. Those on customer service are very nice and helpful, but holding upwards of 30 minutes to talk to them is not acceptable, especial on a late Sunday afternoon.

Airbnb charge my credit card, yet they said I had not verified myself, therefore the booking is suspended.
Shouldn't they verify me first then charge my card?
Are they excluding those who do not have gmail account, facebook account and linked in account to have account with them? their video record upload is not responsive.

Airbnb allows and tolerates that its hosts do not black out the dates while they discuss options with multiple guests who make reservations. the reservations are placed on hold and the credit limit is choked for 7 days even when it is rejected

Airbnb should not charge the credit card until the reservation is accepted but it charges prematurely to improve its cash flow because it gets access to funds for seven days if the reservation is rejected and for many more days if the reservation is accepted
